Anna Branning is an artist, illustrator, and art educator based in San Francisco. A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s illustration program, she spent eight years as the cofounder and designer behind the iconic letterpress stationery company Dutch Door Press.

After years immersed in design and creative entrepreneurship, Anna now teaches art, fostering curiosity and creative confidence in young learners. Through teaching, she has rediscovered her own love for making—returning to the joy of hands-on experimentation, traditional printmaking processes, and book arts.

Her current work blends her background in illustration with a renewed appreciation for material exploration, craftsmanship, and the rhythms of the studio.
